Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of late pop star Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home on Saturday, but she was revived after being rushed to a hospital, police said.
The incident comes three years after Houston, a superstar who battled substance abuse issues, drowned in a bathtub in Beverly Hills, Calif., in February 2012. Authorities have said cocaine use and heart disease contributed to her death.
Bobbi Kristina Brown was found by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend at her home in Roswell, an Atlanta suburb, at about 10:20 a.m ET. The friend called the emergency dispatcher while her husband performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Brown because they believed she was neither breathing nor had a pulse, said Officer Lisa Holland, a police spokeswoman.
When police arrived, they gave Brown additional care until she was taken alive to North Fulton Hospital.

"She's alive at the hospital," Holland said. She gave no other details.
Detectives were still at the home Saturday afternoon trying to determine what occurred. Police were called to the home Jan. 23 for a report of a fight, Holland said. When officers arrived, they found no one there.
Brown married Nick Gordon in January 2014. Gordon was also raised by Houston, one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, but she never formally adopted him.
Whitney Houston, 48, was found dead in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012, in Beverly Hills, Calif. She had struggled for years with cocaine, marijuana and pills, and her behaviour had become erratic.
Authorities examining Houston's death found a dozen prescription drug bottles in the hotel suite. They concluded Houston accidentally drowned. Heart disease and cocaine use were listed as contributing factors in her death.
Over her career, Houston sold more than 50 million records in the United States alone. Her voice, an ideal blend of power, grace and beauty, made classics out of songs such as Saving All My Love For You, I Will Always Love You, The Greatest Love of All and I'm Every Woman. Her six Grammys were only a fraction of her many awards.
Houston, who had her first No. 1 hit by the time she was 22, followed by a flurry of No. 1 songs and multi-platinum records, left her entire estate to her daughter.
Houston was the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston and a cousin of pop singer Dionne Warwick.
Bobbi Kristina Brown's father, Bobby Brown, is a Grammy Award winner who started his career as frontman for the R&B group New Edition.
