Judges reward former X-Files star for role in Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire

Gillian Anderson has gone from science fiction to stage acclaim, winning the best-actress trophy at London's Evening Standard Theatre Awards.
Judges rewarded the former X-Files star for her role in Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire as faded Southern belle Blanche DuBois.
Tom Hiddleston was named best actor for the title role in William Shakespeare's blood-soaked tragedy Coriolanus.
Jeremy Herrin took the best-director trophy for adaptations of Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall novels, while 15th-century saga The James Plays was named best play. The Scottsboro Boys took the best-musical prize.
Sunday's ceremony was attended by David and Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Benedict Cumberbatch and Ian McKellen.
Tom Stoppard was named "greatest living playwright" for a body of work that includes Arcadia and The Real Thing.
