Review: Tina Fey and Jason Bateman shine as siblings returning home after their father's death in This Is Where I Leave You.
The pair, along with their mother and two brothers, are forced to confront the reasons for their ongoing unhappiness after getting stuck under the same roof for a week.
The all-star cast, which includes Jane Fonda, Adam Driver, Rose Byrne, and Abigail Spencer, keeps the film lighthearted while reinforcing the power of the family bond.
The chemistry and quick wit between siblings make the film an easy watch.
This Is Where I Leave You is a funnier, edgier and more subtle family dramedy than last year's melodramatic August: Osage County. 4 stars out of 5 — Zulekha Nathoo, CBC Arts reporter
This Is Where I Leave You is in theatres Friday.
