Back with a third film and a deal with Netflix, the Trailer Park Boys have undeniably joined the ranks of Wayne and Shuster, SCTV and The Kids in the Hall as Canadian comedy legends.
Nearly two decades after making their debut in a short film for the Nova Scotia Film Festival, the charmingly foul and bumbling Maritimes trio of Julian, Ricky and Bubbles have gone from lark to pop culture empire.
Their latest mockumentary film, Trailer Park Boys: Don't Legalize It, revels in the crude humour that actors Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith first made famous on their now-defunct television show.
But the boys from Sunnyvale have also ventured online, with their internet channel Swearnet and a deal to unveil all-new episodes exclusively on popular video streaming service Netflix (along with past seasons).
In the attached video, Eli Glasner takes a look at the foul-mouthed fondness of the Trailer Park Boys.
