The Sheepdogs have something to howl about.
The Saskatoon rockers won two of the top prizes at the Western Canadian Music Awards last night in Calgary.
The band won Rock Recording of the Year for their self-titled release. And lead singer-guitarist Ewan Currie won songwriter of the year, for Feeling Good.
Other Saskatchewan winners include Regina guitarist Jack Semple, for Blues Recording of the Year, Andy Shauf from Regina for Producer of the Year and Rah Rah, for Independent Album of the Year.
