Late singer Stompin' Tom was honoured with a memorial tribute March 13. (Canadian Press) When Stompin' Tom Connors was honoured with a tribute March 13 at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, the only broadcaster was Cogeco, which serves only a few Canadian cities.
Now fans can see the 2 ½ tribute to the late singer online at a Cogeco website.
Stompin' Tom was remembered with moving tributes from former governor general Adrienne Clarkson, former hockey player Ken Dryden and his friend and promoter Brian Edwards.
His life was also celebrated with his own songs, sung by himself on video and artists such as Dave Bidini, Damhnait Doyle and Mark Laforme.
